What an interactive flat panel is

A 4K touch screen that replaces the projector and the whiteboard at once. You write on it, annotate a file, share a laptop screen and hold a video call on the same glass. We build 55-inch to 110-inch models with zero-gap infrared touch and anti-glare glass; the 110-inch unit is a made-to-order item, not a stock size.

Infrared or capacitive touch

Infrared is the commercial standard above 65 inch: it reads 20 to 50 touch points, works with any stylus or a finger, and survives the pen cap that always ends up on the glass. Capacitive is sharper and feels like a phone, but costs more and is rare above 86 inch. For meeting rooms and classrooms, infrared is the pragmatic choice.

Whether Android alone is enough

Android covers wireless casting, the built-in whiteboard, file preview and most conferencing apps. Add an OPS module (i5 or i7) only when the workflow needs full Windows software — CAD, a specific examination platform, or a corporate client that insists on it. Plenty of rooms run Android every day and plug in a laptop for the occasional PC-only task, which is cheaper than fitting every panel with Windows.

What size fits the room

55 to 65 inch for huddle rooms of 6 to 10 people. 75 to 86 inch for standard meeting and training rooms. 98 inch and above for lecture halls. Keep the farthest seat within four to five times the screen height, otherwise the bottom of a spreadsheet is unreadable no matter how good the panel is.

Camera and microphone: built in or not

For hybrid meetings, built in. Our conferencing models carry a 48MP camera and a multi-mic array so the remote side hears the room instead of one person leaning toward the panel. For local teaching only, camera and mic are dead weight on the invoice; skip them and put the budget into the panel.

Can it replace the projector

Yes, and most rooms are better for it. No lamp to replace, no dimming the lights, no shadow when someone walks in front of the beam. A 4K panel reads sharper than a projector under normal room light, and the anti-glare coating keeps it usable next to a window.

What software comes with it

A built-in whiteboard, wireless casting and a file viewer, plus a standard Android app store for the rest. We do not lock the panel to one ecosystem — you can install the meeting app your company already pays for. For branded CMS or LMS integration, talk to us before the order, not after.

Mounting and the height that works

A VESA wall bracket is standard; a mobile stand is the option for rooms that get rearranged. Set the panel so the bottom edge sits near seated eye level — roughly 1.2 to 1.4 m from the floor for a 65 to 86 inch unit. Getting this wrong is the most common installation complaint we hear.

Certifications that matter at customs

CE, FCC, RoHS and CCC for the commercial line, with the certificate copies available for the model you order. These are not decoration: tenders filter on them and customs can hold a container without them. Ask for the document, not the logo on the carton.

MOQ and lead time

Stock configurations ship from a single unit. Custom RAM, an OPS module or branded housing adds time, and the confirmed date goes on the PI. The full range is on the interactive flat panel pages, and we will match a model to your room size before quoting.
