When playback beats publishing
Sometimes you do not need a published program — you need a PC playing a file on a wall right now. A rehearsal before an opening, a one-day event, a trade stand where the content changes every two hours. Publishing a program for that is slow; opening the file and playing it is the right shape of tool.
Where we use it
Rehearsals, temporary installations and exhibition builds. For a permanent installation we would still push you to the publishing route — HDPlayer for LED, HDSign for signage — because a PC that must stay switched on and logged in is one more thing to fail at 7 a.m. on a Monday.
Before you run it
Set the graphics output to the wall resolution, not the desktop resolution, and confirm the machine can decode your codec in hardware. A 4K H.265 file on a machine without hardware decode drops frames regardless of which player you use — that is a hardware limit, not a software setting.
Version
2.1.1.0 is the current build. There is no separate manual on the vendor site for this one; if you need the workflow written down, ask us and we will send the sequence we use on site, which is shorter than the printed documentation would be anyway.
If playback stutters
Check decode first: open Task Manager and watch the GPU while it plays. Then the cable and the output mode. Then the file itself — variable-frame-rate footage is the usual cause of a stutter that appears on the wall but not on a desktop monitor, because the wall does not hide the timing error the way a small screen does.

These are the manufacturer installers, mirrored unchanged for our customers. Version notes follow the vendor release notes. Do not flash firmware on a screen that is running a live campaign without a backup of the current program.
