What it is
The last build of the older line, kept online because screens from that period are still running. It handles screen configuration and program download for the pre-2020 full-colour controller family.
When you actually need it
Only when HDPlayer reports an unknown device or cannot see the controller at all, and the board dates from before 2020. If the board is newer, stop — installing HD2018 will not help and will leave a second driver on the machine that confuses the next person who services it.
Before installing
Windows 7 is the practical ceiling; it runs on 10 but the serial driver is the weak point. Back up the running program before writing anything, and write down the receiving card count from the existing configuration so you can compare after the write.
Version
1.0.35 is the final published build. There is no manual for this one on the vendor site; the configuration steps are the same as HD2020, which does have a document.
If the screen goes blank after a write
Do not re-run the download blindly. Restore the backup first, then compare the receiving card count and the data-group wiring against what you wrote down. A blank screen after a write that reported success is nearly always a configuration mismatch, not corrupted firmware.

These are the manufacturer installers, mirrored unchanged for our customers. Version notes follow the vendor release notes. Do not flash firmware on a screen that is running a live campaign without a backup of the current program.
